 DjTy; and other's in the path of storms in the future  Might get your self an old "moving van quilt" and a tarp to cover the roof and glass with and use rope with motor cycyle tie down strap's to hug the car place the Moving Van quilt two large one's to cover the painted body or king size bed quilt's on the car's roof and window's first,,, then the tarp over that ,,, a realy big one could be drove onto and wraped over lapping the whole car then tie and wrap the car to keep the wind from lifting any of the edges soft nylon rope minumn size 1/2 inch should do becare full of the gromet's touching any painted surface. bad scrathces will show up,, :!:  My car has had no glass or flying debris dammge while stored out side the garage or house,, But all in all,,,, away from tree's and branches that might come down, pstt in the garage is also fine but be wary of the posible colapse of an old roof onto your prize H-body. Those car cover they sell are just dust cover's some are water proof and will move when the wind gets fast buffing the paint dull or away if thin,, it will have the primer showing.,,,,, Mike 8) 8)

Glad to hear you and your island made it through the storm ok. Nothing like a little excitement during the Hurricane season. :)

Hey guys, well the hurricane is now travelling further as a Cat 5 breaking some records and houses and such...

At least I got a crappy video of it from when it started at 4am uploaded on the tube.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BaSSR2Yg_1s

sorry, have to get a nightvision cam, but the sounds really describe how it went inside the house which was completely closed but still the rain and wind was clearly heard
also some lightning that it captured, nice and spooky...

Oh and don't pay attention to my 55gallon fishtank ;)
