On my commute home, finally getting out of the mess and on back roads, the last 5 miles.I was following an old ford pick-up and noticed a lexus suv ahead stopped with his left blinker on,I started slowing but the ford did not, started on the brake but the ford did not,uh-oh this is not going to be good. I'm almost stopped and the ford finally notices, a five foot skid and Smash. we were doing
35-40, so much for that suv, the bumpers almost matched but the fords was stronger and the whole back was shortened by a bit.
Dude got out and started yelling and crumpled his sunglasses,he was hot.
I felt kinda sick the last couple miles, wonder why?

I saw a big one recently. Coming home from the Atlanta airport, south on I-75 just after the airport. Rush hour was ending--traffic was going about 70-75MPH but was very thick. I was in the left lane. A couple of assclowns wanted to go 90 so they were weaving through traffic. Next thing I know, about 200 yards ahead on my right, lots of tire smoke and a couple of cars spinning around. A car that lost its rear wheels was headed toward me and the center wall, but I stomped the gas and made it by him on the shoulder. Neither I nor the person with me could remember who started what, so we just went on, shaken up a bit.

I was on my way to work the other day and, there was an accident in rush hour traffic going the other way. I think it was a three car but not sure.

As I was passing the backup, the commuter lane was moving to the right very quickly due to a hwy patrol car going to the accident. I noticed a car cut into the traffic with not much room and the cop passed him. By doing that sudden move, he caused the cars behind him to slam on the brakes. A box truck that was about ten cars back could not make the sudden stop and rear ended a small pickup truck.

Who caused the second accident?

I know what I think, what do you think?

The Box truck following too closely, he/she should know that vehicle takes longer to stop. Tailgating FTL!
