Now that is a shortbed !

Reminds me of the Ford Explorer Sport Trac that Ford markets over here in the States.

Very small bed, but as you point out better than wrangling parts in and out of a sedan!

I have one of those!!!

AusRs,
I have one of those!! Actually a 2002 Chevy S-10 quad cab with the 4.3 Vortec and push button 4wd.... I love it!!! Actually the wife drives it more as she loves it as well, after I MADE her get it.... She claims it is 'her kruk!' Yes it is a short bed, but you would be surprised at how much stuff you can put in it, and still put 4 people in the cab comfortably. I have named ours either Max, for Maximum usability, or M.U.T..... Maximum Use Truck. However you look at it though... is a great vehicle that neither the wife or I intend to sell for a LONG time.!!!!

And having been to England where they drive on the wrong side of the road like you folks do... I can tell ya... the wheel is on the WRONG side.!!!!

so thats a late model S10
hmmm
mine has a 3.2 litre direct injection efi engine .ALL Isuzu running gear
only thing GM is the name Holden on it !
would go very well with the 4.3 engine ,and yes it is a surprixe what you can fit in it :)
still need to educate you guys
does not matter where the steering wheel is ...........as long as you know how to drive !

I don't think the Rodeo has anything to do with the S-10. I think he was just talking about that style of truck.

However, some Rodeos use the GM 4L30E automatic transmission, as do some BMWs. GM actually gets a lot of respect for their auto trannys. I think even Honda has used them.

Isuzu DID sell the "Hombre" in America, which was just an S-10 with a couple of different body panels.

Also, the Rodeo was sold here as the Rodeo and as the Honda Passport.

Lots of sharing of parts and complete platforms among car companies, even across "competing" manufacturers...
