I remember reading about this in hot rod some time back and I think there was a vid of it on you tube,and yes,those guys a hot rod dont like H bodies,too wrapped up in the other GM models.Not that that is a bad thing,just a little too "snooty" I think. But it did give a new meaning to "forced induction".

Watched the video today. In spite of all the talking down about it, the 305 performed pretty decent. 190 RWH with just headers, intake and carb is a hell of a difference from the 140 from the factory. I wonder if the 305 had been cammed in the past?
139 MPH is way faster than I would drive a car I just met 5 days earlier!
