I turned 58 in September. Took my dad to church this morning in my '02 Z-28. (my wife normally takes him because I get there a bit early) I was griping about some of the car's shortcomings as I pulled onto the highway, then tagged it. Nearly redlined it in first, then barked the tires going into second. I told him that that made up for the other problems with the car. He responded with, "you'll never grow up will you?" Old is a state of mind.

Nah, No fear, I'll be 71 in April but I still haven't grown up yet.

This seemingly innocent thread turned quite hilarious....and it's all true, I'm laughin' my ass off here thinkin' how you're barkin' the boots at 58 with Pah in the car who's probably in his late 70's, and he's still riding you now that's funny! mostly cause he isn't freaking out and telling you to stop or pull over....makes me think of when I did that not long ago with my "gear-head" father in law in the car, only thing he said was, "C'mon Hammer, is that the best you can do?!" "now get some in every gear!" or I'll show ya how it's done!".... and who's not the "GROWN-UP" here?!..."Once a gear-head, always a "Gear-Head"
...ever notice how guys aren't afraid to give out their age? any "lady" H-body owners wanna weigh in here?
P.S. Merle, you know the "Dead Sea" was only sick not that long before we were born huh? just kiddin'.....
