Mini News Rant

Postby zeke » Wed Dec 18, 2013 1:03 am

Winter in Ontario again and another storm just moved through. Only eight inches or so, no big deal, but as usual the general masses don't adjust quickly enough.

I get tired of hearing this on the news: "The car lost control".

Cars are controlled by people, therefore, if they are not in control, it means the operator lost control.

Sorry just irritates me. </endrant>

"Lost control" Yeah..cuz they cant drive worth a shi....! Some go through driver ed on how to go straight, turn left/right,make a panic stop etc.,BUT no one shows them how to control a car in a skid or to recover from one. Most folks will usually try to turn away from the skid instead of into it,and boom! We don't get a lot of snow here in VA,usually just a light dusting, sometimes more, But when it does snow,it makes people drive faster for some reason and man the body shops love it!! Too bad driving schools don't have a skid pad to teach how to control a car in a skid. That would go a long way to cutting down on accidents and the death rate not to mention insurance rates.Just my thoughts on this.

Well true F:cuss:G story right there in both cases! However it is increasingly my experience that "There Ain't No Cure for STUPID" (I am thinking of having this made into Tee shirts to sell I should be rich!) Yes, it is a mess here when it snows as well 1/2 the drivers drive WAY too slow and well we know what the other half do, as stated above. Merry Christmas Harry

Hey Zeke!
C'mon drive to Alberta with me next week and I'll guarantee when we get there, you'll shite yerself when you see the 15 year old girl drivers there, yes, I said "FIFTEEN year old girl drivers with learners out in the middle of everywhere cruisin' around in jacked up trucks, cars with/without rear lights, broken windows (mostly Sunfires and Cavaliers) trying to get around other users of the roads, also with bald tires, and the carnage and stupidity that awaits us at any given time because of our inept Gov't that allows no safety certifications to be done to vehilcles up to 10 years old and falling apart! What a F :censored: :cuss: JOKE!!! Glad I drive a
KENWORTH!!!...nuff said...P.S. we'll be travelin' in my GMC 4X4 that weighs 6000 lbs. has brand new tires, and looks and handles like a brand new truck!....still scares me.
