VW Baja.... Drifting... well, kinda.

I bought another VW Baja a few months ago. Yep, I'm "bugdewde", once again.

It had to have the complete front beam/torsion tubes/spindles/brakes/steering box/tie rods, etc... completely replaced.
Previously, it had all bus drivetrain under it with a steering rack that was horrendously placed under the pan and worked like crap. Now, with stock Bug stuff up front, it works great.

I took it to my buddy's place who has an open field for it's inaugural run. His stepson's 16th birthday gift was learning how to "drift" and slide in the field. It has "tractor" brakes or "steering" brakes .... two levers that independantly operate the rear brakes to assist turning (like a zero-turn mower). It makes turning fun :D

Here's a video of my buddy trying it out for the first time.
