Woodward Dream Cruise 2014

So who is going to cruise Woodward this year? It will be August 16th this year. I normally hang with a group there at Woodward where we rent a parking lot but this year I guess I was slow on the draw and the lot sold out before I was able to get my spot. Does anyone know of a cool group that does something similar that I can buy a reserved spot from? I am really looking forward to going but the thought of driving in circles for hours looking for a parking spot has me rethinking.

If you do not mind parking with mostly Pontiac's (about 75% of our Club still drive them, but we let the Olds Chevy, Buick and Ford Guys park with us)
We usually get spaces on Old Woodward in Birmingham, last years cost was $25.00 and it is within walking disatance of the Woodward as they Bypassed the old downtown area decades ago, they shut off the street, but you are always able to drive in and out as you please. But you have to be there by 9:00am or they start selling unused spaces.

That sounds like it may be a good option Jeff except for the 9am part as I am almost 3 hours away. If nothing else presents itself as we get a little closer I will get back in touch with you. Thanks for the reply.
