Any Bowhunters here ?

Postby vegon71 » Tue Jul 22, 2014 8:41 pm

Well besides cars and i hate admitting this, cars is my number two! I have always been a passionate Bowhunter. So who else shares this passion with me? I have done this since I was 12. Im 49 now! I have been fortunate to become part of a very popular web show video staff member. If this does not offend anyone ill post the link of my Buck Harvest last fall. Its a 30 minute show, mine is the second hunt. If you dont care to watch just dont click link

I love to bow hunt also, and gun season. I like deer so much I have a pen in my back yard and raise them. Heres a couple pics of some of my bucks, the first is old "buzz" when he was alive (4yrs old), I had to shoot him right after this photo in sept as he thought he was in full rut and was trying to kill all the other deer in the pen. The second pic is of him just hanging around now, he gets along with everyone now, doesnt eat as much either....lol

last pic is his son "guzz" at 3 yrs old as of today, has 8pts,but could get more as time goes on for another month and half at least at 3/8" a day groth. My deer wont tighten up the velvet and shed till end of sept in captivity, he has big mass but no where near the points of his dad so far.... :(

Hey thats pretty neat, those are some studs for sure. I had a chance at twin fawns from my taxidermest as he raised several Deer himself, but didnt have nothing fenced in so I declined. I wanted to but it was to short notice. Hope you enjoyed my Buck harvest if you watched the episode. Here is one I just did with Bowfishing if you would like to watch, Im the second Bowfishing segment in this one.
