That was before E85, I used Sunoco Ultra back then, it was 97 octane. :shock: :? 355 with 10:1's, 4000 stall 400TH and 4:88's it got 5 mpg taking it relatively easy. :lol:

Ya, Zeke like you took it easy in that lol!! :lol: you drove it too stinkin fast and it got friction burns from the wind speed :slap: :mrgreen:friction blisters :lol:

I drove it 3 miles to work and back everyday for ten years and did not baby it by no means. What a sound it made when ya got on it! Had an M20 with a MR. Gasket vertical gate shifter in it most of it's time with me. I miss it. It was an actual 454 SS car too.

The same short block and rollers are in my Monza now.

I was always a huge fan of your car man!! always called that Chevelle an "Earth -Mover" still , that lil Monza of yours is Cherry :th: just no "Friction -Blisters" or Road -Rash ...I'll hafta smack ya ! :shock: :lol:

I had a Muncie and V-Gate in a '66 Beaumont. It was a blast to drive although down shifting was a little tricky at first.

The body really was tough on it, a lot of braze / filler. Do you remember the car from the late eighties around London, Ron?

Yeah the Monza is too nice to wreck, I promise to abuse it though. :twisted:
