bicycle parking

Postby erik monza » Tue Dec 16, 2014 3:35 am

What do you think??

This picture is taken outside a university in Copenhagen
Copenhagen is the bicycle capital of the western world, so yes, there is a lot of bicycles everywhere.
To get into a university require a very high - high school grade.
So this place is for intelligent people - right, or at least people, who are good at reading.
People who in the future will shape the world we will life in, if we live that long.
People who can read and write, should be able to understand pictogram s as well, or that is what I think.

So what do you think?? are these bicycle owners stupid or just to smart ??

Thanks from Erik

The sign seems to indicates no mens bicycles allowed in that area. I'm quessing that the owners of the womens bikes, (male or female), noticed that.

Yes - yes - yes - That was what I thought, when I tried to figure out, why intelligent people at a university, would park their bikes, in a no bike parking zone.

What we need to invent now, is a - Genderless - bike sign. what would that look like ???

Maybe this would make more sense ... don't know ...
Maybe the problem is the fact they all have baskets, so they might think it's prohibited for bicycles without baskets ...
