Upgraded to windows 10 the other day..I think they nailed it with this one, so far its pretty awesome.

As an avid Linux user and supporter, I have no use for Windoze. I think it's funny that paid programmers at Microsoft can't get it right but the hippie's that program Linux can! /End rant.

I had a friend who upgraded to windows 10 and her computer immediately became a door stop! She had nothing but trouble, I was able to help her downgrade back to what she had ( I forget off-hand but think it was 7) and all was well again. I would say be cautious, it may depend upon the age and version of your computer. When it comes to computers I am a avid fan of if it is working fine leave it alone.

My computer came with Windows 8 and I upgraded to Windows 10.
I'd rather be using Windows XP.

I d/l win 10 and it wouldnt run my expensive graphics adapter in anything other than vga mode. lol Apparently there was some conflict between the nvidia updater and win 10 updater I read later.

Reverted back to 8.1

I agree with Clyde, if it aint broke, don't fix it when it comes to pc's.

Well you guys are not to hip with new technology it seems, I guess thats why you'all drive h-body's..

Well its is I treating how so many have issues and my old laptops, my 09 Toshiba the old lenovo my buddy gave me and the old hp I bought from his wife all run 7,8.1 and 10 with zero issue. As for Linux, I'll remember that every time I have a Linux box or Android(it basically Linux) device ass up I'll send them over.
As for any of the three ,they just work fine , networks like a dream and so far I have yet to have any issues and that is on old hardware.

I just upgraded too cuz it seem things in internet land no longer like to talk to xp. as a person who's not very good with computers I find it absolutely stunning how stupid some of this crap on windows ten is...... so the default photo app they give me puts my pictures on some cloud and not on my c drive ?? AND it doesn't talk to facebook? I had to have a friend come show me how to actually put pics on my comp from my camera, then it don't ask which pics just blatently puts everything into blocks of 200 and transfers each 200 into a different file.

I have bad eyes so I wanted to increase the font size it won't let me do that but I can drag some stupid half assed microscope thing around and see little bits of the page as bigger... I don't wanna magnify the whole freekin page or pieces of it I just want bigger font.

Oh yeah and for some reason it won't talk to my printer.

This is basic stuff that people like me should be able to do easily and they've made it into a big pain in the butt I'm not impressed at all.

my problem with 10 is it is chock full of spyware and malware right from microsoft - with no current way to disable it. I do not want microsoft to track every single thing I do with my computer.
