Congrats, Clyde..... I agree with some other comments. You should go into the H-body parts hunting business... lol.... like you haven't been or aren't already!

Enjoy your time off.... you deserve it.
50 now.... so I've got another 15 or 17 years to go. Heck, the 2nd house won't be paid off until I'm 80........ Like I'll ever make it to there. Hahahaha.... looks like I'll win that bet.

Clyde,

Best to you! I have been out of the corporate game for 14 years and have never regretted retiring one second. This is what we worked hard all our lives for. Now just maintain your health and you will be a very happy person!

Regards,

Bill

The majority of my days have been working on my parents house getting it ready to put up for sale. It has been a ton of work but my brother and I have been diligently been working on almost every day. The rest of my evenings and weekends have been really hitting the cruise nights and shows. It's been hectic but fun!

Clyde, sorry for the late reply to this momentous announcement, but congratulations to you!! I envy you to be honest, but like others have said, keep yourself involved in various hobbies and if I might add, don't be a stranger when we have future H-body get-togethers too. We'd love to see you in perhaps the Ohio gathering or at Bryan's place in Ontario. I made the drive... I'd even tag team the drive with you if you didn't want to go that far - we're not that far away. :-)

Congrats Clyde. After 42 years, well-deserved - nice severance package, too.

And kudos to others who mentioned that they are already retired, too. Or close to it.
I am about 3+ years away from joining you all and being able to (and planning to) spend a LOT more time on my cars.
