EEEK! Winter. My wife was in Saskatoon twice in the last 6 weeks; she said the weather was lovely. Because it was hot and sticky here while she was away. We've still got a month or so here in the east before we see any white stuff. I hope.

22 degrees here today, 24 tomorrow! Snow is nice to look at but I'll take the sunshine for now. Anyway my truck needs work before the winter plus the sled needs work to run...

Here in St Louis it's supposed to be near 90F with a slight chance of t-storms today, in case you wanted to know....

This thread about the weather is from a couple of weeks ago, but I feel I must make a further comment; just spent the whole day at the track in 50f (10c) weather. Cold wind and bright sunshine wears you down; I'm in way worse shape than after a day with high heat and humidity.
The only good thing about today was the unbelievable air; equivalent density altitude was couple of hundred feet below sea level all day. A lot of "personal best" ET'S, and more than a few broken parts. I went a season best 6.03@116.3.
Racing in the winter (or at least in winter temperatures) ain't a lot of fun.
