Hurricane Matthew

Just curious how many H-body.org members here have been/will be caught in the path of hurricane Matthew. I know of several members in Florida, to include one in Jacksonville (not sure he's a member of this site but I've known him for 15 years). I know John & Richard's stable of H-bodies are in Florida as well but can't remember where. Hope everyone is ok. I'm currently in Savannah and am waiting on the hurricane to hit this afternoon. I was unable to go anywhere as all hotels are booked West of here and the roads were backed up for many miles. I decided to hunker down in place here at the hotel in Savannah (they tell me this hotel is built to withstand a Category 4 hurricane) and will ride this thing out. My only real concern is watching my rental car float away as they've predicted up to 12' storm surges off the coast here.

Roll call!... anyone else affected by this?

Even though it was 300 miles south of us , it still made 10 foot waves which closed the main road down at the end of the bario where we live. There was sand and rocks all over the road, which made me take the long way home from another farm farther west that I was working at that Thursday...................was cloudy and windy all day but no rain. Worked late (4pm) and they closed it at high tide at that time.

Pretty far away Art, we just got waves and wind September 29th, rain came days latter...............
Here's where the main road (Route #1) looked like where the road into our bario starts at ( a "T")

On the other side of the guardrail is 10 foot of beach.....used to be some houses there but taken by the sea a long time ago.

Law is : once destroyed -no rebuilding that close to the ocean.

My wifes grandparent's house where she grew up is a 1/8 mile east of the picture on the same road.
