Hi Ken, Nice Nova, SB? BB? I know my dad's 74 Nova had the engine displacement above the fender side marker light i.e. 350 except for the 6 cyl cars which were blank like yours. Did they do the same on the earlier Novas? That Nova my dad had launched pretty good for a 350 2bbl and would drop 20-30 feet of rubber with little effort, even after the tranny lost 2nd gear, that TH350 drove around for 2 years with no second gear, I finally replaced the transmission when I owned it for a short spell, she unfortunately fell victim to the rust gods, turned into a Fred Flindstone car, the rear shock mounts rusted away and then when the subframe anchors began to pull out of the body I decided it was time to put her to rest. The motor just wouldn't die so I pulled it and after moving it several times, end up giving it away...one of my less than brightest decisions, it would have worked great for my H body build. I'm guessing your Nova is not a native Ontario car...or was it lucky enough to be spared the Ontario winters?
