i'm quite sure I am not the only one from what I see on line but every time they update with one of their "security"updates it screws with my computer. last time I lost the ability to retrieve my e mails for 2 months. even after talking to one of microsofts wonderfull reps from someware in india. a couple of days ago,another update,and I lost my emails again. the message I got from Microsoft was and I quote'' WE DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO RETRIEVE YOUR E MAILS" luckily after 24 hours my e mails suddenly are accessable again. sure makes me think about switching to apple products. I sure don't deal well with all of these glitches because I am not that computer savey.

Maybe the "Allow apps to access your email" was turned off. You can find it here: Start/Settings/Privacy/Email. After turning it on, you need to restart your computer.

I have Windows 10 on one of my computers and have no issue at all. Not sure what is up with yours.
