How do I disable the FASTEN SEATBELT light?

Postby AlectricDreams » Sun Nov 27, 2022 7:39 pm

I don't want to go back into the dash (lost a few speednuts last time, if anyone has the p/n for the ones in a '75 Monza dash I'd be VERY happy), is there a way to jump the wires on the old connector to shut it off? Don't want to risk jumping the wrong one.

When I bought my 75 brand new the dealer disabled the start system is the seatbelts weren't fastened. I think there was a really on the engine compartment on the firewall near the brake booster. There are also seat switches under the seat that can be disconnected.

I disconnected the ones under the seat and the light is on. Of course, it's the brightest light in the dash since I have a few burned out in there. Unrelated, your car is the same color as mine, just a lot cleaner. Are those Appliance Wiremags? Small pic, can't tell.

No, mine are Superior Industries "Pantera" wire mags. The Appliance have a smooth wheel lip, mine are stepped.
