Mass-Flo EFI

For anyone considering throttle-body injection, this may be a better alternative. Good write-up in the latest Chevy High Performance on the Mass-Flo EFI system. Minimal hassle install, too!

Colin, maybe you could drop that 350 back in your Vega with a carb and get it back on the road then do this conversion later if you still want EFI.

I'd strongly consider this if I do a V-8 swap on the Sunbird!

Dave,

Did you see the price on this unit? I think I could afford to buy a system from a more common vendor AND pay someone to dial it in for that price.

Of course, it may pay in the long run if you plan changes to your combination in the future.

It's about $500 more than similar systems from what I can see. And it does include everything you need in front of the firewall, even the distributor. Might be a trade-off between simplicity and ease of install vs. cost. Plus, if you have an engine that isn't a SBC, like a Buick or Pontiac, they sell a system with the correct manifold. Hopefully the price will come down or it will be available for less through Jegs or Summit.

Seems great.

One thing I read though....they 1st claimed that there system is better than speed density because of better programming.

yet then it says you can use a stock factory controller off the shelf....and the programming is fine?
