Blower switch number ?

Postby rocketride » Thu Mar 22, 2007 8:45 pm

Anyone know the number for an 80 Monza body-double w/air blower switch? My Starfire only blows on high. I keep seeing switches on Ebay but they never show to fit past 79.

I believe there is also a blower motor relay.

If your blower fan only works on high, 99% of the time it's the resistor pack at fault, not the switch itself.

Jon, if you need a NOS resistor, let me know. I may be able to get NOS switches too, but I am a little confused on the #'s right now. Is there a difference between C60 A/C and "regular" AC? I am showing a couple of numbers, not sure what's correct. CJBIAGI@YAHOO.COM

Hey Clyde,

That'd be great. I'm not in any hurry. If I can find the time I'll try and pull the resistor and switch and see if I can find some numbers for you. I'm in the middle of re-modeling the house to put on the market soon and haven't had time to do anything on the car. I will have to get my car back-halved before the house sells though so I can roll it out and into a bigger garage or better yet a shop.

Thanks
Jon
