wipers

My wipers stop immediatly when I turn them off.Is it in the switch or the motor that keeps the wipers moving through the swipe?

There should be a wire that will stay hot to put the wipers in the "park" position. I'm not sure how it is on the Monza but I just fixed the wipers on a caprice today. It was a single wire and I think it was light blue-teal colored. It was the only single wire conector.
