Bolts for mini starter???

Postby T-FATTY » Tue Jun 10, 2008 5:30 pm

I just got my [GM] mini starter, thanks everyone for your help. My question now is what bolts do i use for it? The stock ones look to be too long. I used a 1998 GMC Jimmy as the application, do i get bolts for this truck? I don't want to use washers or spacer unless i have to. What are you guys using? Thanks, Todd.

Yes, just get the bolts for the truck that you got the starter for. My parts lists don't go that far, just stop at the GM dealer and get them. Clyde

Just be careful, the bolts for the Jimmy might be metric. The part stores should have an assortment of starter bolts on the "HELP" rack.

Thank again guys, i'll go to the parts store and see what they have. Once i get starter in and new master cylinder in, [already did rear shoes, spring kit and wheel cylinders] i'll be ready to fire up/drive car for the first time in 7 years. Can't wait!
