Hi guys,

I posted this in the general forum, but I guess its better here:

I could buy a '77 Vega distributor, bur my ride is a '75 model (HEI-system).
According to the catalog, I need an Arrow # 55-9603. The 77 models used a 55-9004. I am not sure what the difference is though.
Can someone tell me, if I can use the '77 part, too ? Are there any real differences ?

I checked Rock Auto's website and they show the 75-77 distributor as being the same! That makes sense because 1975 was when GM made major design changes like HEI, hydraulic lifters etc. Those changes remained constant for 76 and 77 years.

I guess I will take the risk to buy this part and hope that it fits...
