remove ign. lock cylinder

Postby Vegav6 » Mon Sep 14, 2009 3:18 pm

How do you remove the ignition lock cylinder... I've tried what was suggested in the Faq's section.. column is all apart and ready for paint, and can't remove lock cylinder. I've turned the key to acc. and pushed the white pin in the lock cylinders' slot and cylinder won't come out. I don't want to pry on it and break it at this point. Any Help?

there is a slot that has a pin in it. The lock cyl. has a little catch that hangs in this grove. Take something small and push it down and it should come out. I found this out after i broke that littler groove. It still works just has some play in it.

go here and read this - it helped me
