help with blinkers

i am trying to get a race car road worthy again,,,it is a 72 vega,,,i can not figure the blinkers out,,,they will not work at all,,,but the flashers will,,,also in the dash the right blinker light is lite dimmly,,,i put a brand new flasher in it and still nothing,,,i had the whole harness out of the car and did not see any broe wires,,,i would like to check everything i could,,, before i rip the column ,,,,maybe a ground or ????,,,where are the grounds located at off the harness,,,,please help

I was just working on this on my Monza last weekend. The ground wires for the fronts are attached to the Headlight part of the harness. There is a ground wire on each side in the front. I don't know how similar a Vega is but it might be pretty close.

Witout looking at a wiring diagram I would assume each light is grounded separately. Plus the fact that the hazard lights blink make me think it could be in the turn signal switch. Since everything seems to work normally with the hazards I would assume the wiring at the lamps is ok. Could be the power going to or from the turn signal switch or more likely the switch itself.

got it,,,,thanks guys,,it was in the colunm,,everything was gumped up
