Anybody know what the ohm, base line readings should be, for empty and full ?

I think most GM are 0-90 ohms, I forget which is empty and full.

I show empty, 341 full 433.
its within the range mentioned.
Mine is a rebuilt unit not installed as yet.

From what I have researched you should read 0 empty and 90 full.

HMMM, Makes me wonder.
Dug out ohmeter #2 tests 0 empty 103 full
closer, maybe battery time for #1

Yeah, that's a lot closer. Some meters may not be real accurate or that may well be within tolerance. Most GM fuel gauges seem to take forever to move when the tank is full and then move slowly to about the halfway point, after that it seems to go down much quicker for that last 1/2 of tank.

Ok here is what I got off this one. Man is it tough taking pics of led readings in the dark. when I get some more time I hock it up to a know working gage and there the truth will be told. I'm going to guess this sending unit will read full and empty. To bad it is a little rusty on the out side .

I did get it hooked up today to the sunbird , and yup it read from full to empty and all the way along.
