Hello,
Finally got a chacne to get back into the garage and work on the 95% complete engine/trans swap. I made new fuel line and wanted to make sure I flushed it, so I jumpered out the neutral safety and oil pressure switches. When the key is turned one click the idiot lights come on (as they should) but the pump does not run.
I pulled out my chassis service manual and it shows a 20 amp fuse for the fuel pump. However, my fuse panel has a 10 amp fuse in that position, labeled elec fuel pump. The fuse was blown, so I replaced it with a new one. Still no fuel pump.
Questions:
Other than the two switches above, what else should I look for that enable the fuel pump?
Is the elec fuel pump fuse supposed to be a 10 amp or a 20 amp fuse?
