Your relay pinouts aren't quite right; You would use 85 from ignition(or accessorry), 86+30 to ground and 87 will provide the needed ground to the switch panel.
Or you could just hook the switch panel ground wire to the black/pink on the steering column harness; it's the key-in-ignition-warning-buzzer. It would turn on the switch panel as soon as you put the key in, but that might not be such a bad idea.
