71 vega engine compartment fuses

Postby finest20 » Fri Sep 28, 2012 11:23 am

Hello
I have a 1971 vega that I am turning pro street. My question is can anyone tell me the wiring configuration for the small fuse block inside the engine compartment. Right now there are 4 slots with the top most with no fuse in it. The bottom 3 fuses appear to be wired together. Can anyone tell me where the wiring comes from that goes to these fuses? thanks

Any fuses found under the hood of a Vega are not OEM, unless it's got something to do with A/C.

It appears to be a factory install. They are 4 fuses mounnted of a rectangular block and even still have the factory soft plastic fuse covers!

Got a pic of this fuse box? Does the car have A/C? What soft plastic covers? I'm not trying to be a smart ass; I've owned dozens of H-body cars, my business is automotive wiring, and I've never seen fuses under the hood of a Vega.
