My directionals seem to work when they want to. Changed flasher and no difference. 4 way flashers work normal. Does anyone know what may be the problem. Need to get inspection soon. Thanks for your help!
Hey Mark if I had to guess I'd start in the column with the switch itself, (corrosion dirt ?) but easier, faster and only slightly less likely is the connector on the column to the body harness, check those spots clean and go if your lucky (dielectric grease on the connector is good insurance, I love this S works wonders) Keep us posted Harry (P.S. we better see you this year no excuses)

Another possibility to look into. My turn signals would do this also, took steering wheel off to look at the switch... Long story short - turned out to be the fuse block was not holding that fuse tightly enough. Took out fuse, bent clips as best as I could to put more pressure on the fuse.

Check the thin connector attached to the bottom of the steering column. All the turn signal circuits pass through there. Hope this helps..
