Postby TurboKen » Tue Mar 03, 2015 7:11 pm

I have a 75 Monza t.c with the factory 350. I want to change the oil pressure switch but everything shows a single male spade. mine has the 3 male spades. What part #s are you guys using? A 74 vega came up with a 3 male spade, airtex 1S6920 , a 77 Monza with a 305 came up with a standard brand ps64 and the 1S6920. thanks for your help.

So I guess it doesn't matter as long as its a 3 male spade. I was getting thrown off because my parts guy said one was rated 2-6lbs and another was rated 5-15lbs. thanks for the help

I keep the aftermarket ones "in stock"; not for H-bodies, but for street rods and muscle cars with electric fuel pumps. I install them for safety as well as to reduce noise; I hate the sound of a fuel pump hammering away with the key on but the engine not running. The H-body may have been the first common usage of this type of oil pressure driven fuel pump switch back in the day of the carburetor, but almost every fuel injected vehicle on the planet now has something similar.
