I have a remote starter switch .
I need to connect it and then I can work from under the hood and need nobody to start the car everytime ..
The switch have 2 wires and is only for crancking .

1 is for the "S" solenoide .( purple I think)
2 is ...

Is this correct ?

Second lead would attach to battery assuming this is just one of those temporary testing tool pushbutton thingys.

Second clamp can go to the battery directly or to the big lug the the battery cable attaches to on the solenoid.
