low coolant warning

how do i get the low coolant light to go out
i tried pulling the wire off the sensor , no joy
short of removing the bulb , is there another option
75 v8 southgate car

Have you tried adding coolant?.......LOL. Seriously, I would try and get the warning light to work correctly. Does your radiator still have the coolant sensor in it? May just need to be replaced. Edit.....Looks like the sensor just applies a ground for the bulb, so if it's on with the connector unplugged the wire my be shorted to ground somewhere.

Ground the sensor wire, bulb should go out.

already tried grounding the wire to the sensor......still on
there is a module shown in the wiring diagrams on this circuit,this is probably the problem
next plan is to pull the bulb to remove this annoying light

johns rule 74 , any time a module is involved in these old cars , it is both expensive and overly complicated.lol
