The wires are old, and have some paint on them (photos are of Passenger side).

Passenger side headlight pigtail seems to have:
2- Green Wires
2- Tan wires (in middle)
2- Black wires

Looking to find replacement Driver & Passenger pigtails for my 1973 Chevy Vega.
Can't seem to find any online.
Any suggestions ? Thanks

Do both headlights have 6 wires or is the passenger feeding the drivers side with the extra wires?

This gives you larger wiring than factory to each light, the lights are powered through fuses from the battery and the relays are energized by the low/high beam signal from your stock wiring. You can make the same thing yourself, but when you add up your parts and what your time is worth for putting it together, I doubt you can do much cheaper than what they want. I just do my own harnesses usually so I can custom place the relays and wiring where I want them.

The reason for doing this is factory wiring tends to be sized to the bare minimum, so by upsizing your wire through a direct power source, your wiring is has less resistance so that more current can flow in the circuit and you have less voltage drop for longer wires so the bulb can put out the full lumens it was designed to do. I'm pretty sure the connectors are pretty standard on a lot of GM cars, they have generic ones on RockAuto that use all black wire pigtails:

I haven't seen them new in the factory colors, if that's what you are after. The spade connectors do punch out of the plastic holder, so you do have options for making them up if you need to - I've done this on some of my projects.

Okay, the photos show the passenger side, apparently stock, headlight pigtail -- with 6
wires going into it. Online...…. you can only seem to find 2 or 3 wires going into
the replacement connectors -- so that was an issue.
The answer I'm leaning toward is this:
a. Buy three, approx. $3.00 headlight pigtail connectors at the parts store.
b. Use one as a guinea pig/tester to figure out how the wires come out (clips; push; pull, etc.)
c. Wire up the new pigtails -- looks like all terminals will get Double wires on each terminal.
d. Next use heatable/melting butt connectors. (I'm not that good at soldering.)
e. Then 'hide' all this under new, 1/2 black, plastic conduit-looming wire covers.
