Monza vented rotor brake calipers

Postby 74vegwag » Fri Nov 18, 2022 7:14 pm

I'm looking for a LH & RH set of vented style 76 and up, front brake calipers. Please let me know if anyone has a set and what the cost, plus shipping to 92110 (SoCal)would be, or pick up if you're local. Thanks, Dan

Found a DFC part # 600-52001 for the rotor. They all seem out of stock.

These calipers are nearly impossible to find new, you may find a LH one but RH are impossible. If you have or can find used ones they can be rebuilt.

It's getting harder than ever to find replacement parts these days. I did this swap years ago on my wagon, and I bought replacement parts for that set up, but I didn't get an extra pair of calipers. If anyone has a good pair of used ones they're willing to sell, I would be interested. Thanks.

I have a pair of rebuilt caliper from a 77 Monza. Listed in parts for sale. I can't post pictures here, but if you send a PM, H-Body sends me an email and I'm pretty sure that I can reply and post pictures. Jeff

I've been off the site for a while, but I wanted to respond to the latest postings. I was able to find a used set that I was able to clean up and rebuild. Thanks to all who responded.

It may be a bit late and a tad expensive for some but I ended up getting some adjustable Upper and lower control arms from Justin Kill. I sent over some upper and lower ball joints from a HQ - WB Holden and got Justin to make the control arms to suit. The advantages for me going this way is I can buy parts for Holdens over here in OZ and the discs are ventilated. I also used springs and shocks to suit a V8 LH Torana. It was also handy for my 5 lug conversion as the HQ hub is the same stud pattern as Chev. Is there anything over there that could do the same job? Just an idea I thought I would throw out there.
