There is some conversation about this buried in another thread but I thought I would bring it to the forefront.
Nov 23rd to 26th at the speedway. Very large gathering with acres of cars for sale and swap meet.
I only live about 3 miles from the speedway so I am here anyhow. I will be going friday, but I was thinking if most people are coming on Saturday, that I could plan a cookout-gathering just for some of us to get together and actually meet in the afternoon.
Come to the show, spend the day, leave and cmon over to my house for dinner/hangout/lie swapping session late afternoon (I should be home after 4:00) before heading home for the day.
If there are 2 of us great, if there are 10 great also. Nothing fancy, probably burgers, dogs, drinks to fill you up for the ride home.
So who would want to do this?

Roy i will be coming over to the Speedway on one of the days not sure which one yet. I will let you know as soon as it has been worked out. It was looking like Saturday , but Friday maybe less crowded.

I'll be there Saturday and possibly Sunsay with my Mirage.Still looking for my center caps.Will bring spares to include Vega GT wheels,2bbl mainfold & carb(305)Rear window louver and other misc parts for sale.

I am going to try and make it maybe fri. ,but definitly sat. I won't be bringing the spyder ,cause the diff. might fall apart on the way or back.

mega bummer. I don't heve another diff. to put in it.

It is looking like Saturday will be the day for me . Unfortunately i will only be there in the am .

I mentioned this to Ricahrd, but he hasn't made up his mind. His cousin now has a Cosworth, but it is not running at this point. So, two or three of them might may the TT @ Daytona.

Um John.... I hate to tell you this but the Turkey Rod Run was over thanksgiving. Get it.....Turkey Rod Run. :shock:

Are you talking about the Speedway spectacular the weekend of March 23rd?
If so we could plan an even bigger success than this last meeting! All we would have to do is beat uh....zero. :cry:
