My white car (the only one that runs  ) but I would rather be blasting down the strip!

I'm all ready and will be keeping an eye on the weather. Doesn't sound bad at all now. Brian

I've been wanting to see that car for a while (your red one too!)! The weather looks good for now but we'll cross our fingers and hope for the best!

Marco I understand believe me!

Bill same with yours, I hope you get a chance to give me a ride! I've only ridden in one V8 H body and that was Greg's Mirage. In the last 20 some years the most I've seen in one place was the parking lot at work. Greg's Mirage a V8 Town Coupe and a Vega wagon parked there about 5-7 years ago.

The weather forecast keeps getting better and now there is no rain expected for Sunday. (I know it can change but at least it is going in the right direction for now)

Well, hate to say it but have to bail officially this year. I saw the weather is looking remarkably better with no rain for Sunday but my mother-in-law who was going to look after the kids for the weekend is now down with what may be ulcers or kidney stones (ouch, had them, don't wish 'em on ANYONE) so were kind of handcuffed now. I know dave is still coming down though so there will be 1 Canuck at least.
Have a safe drive guys and enjoy the day, it is ALWAYS a blast.
I'll pull my Spyder out of the garage on Sunday and pretend I'm at a show, with beers in hand.
Cheers

Sorry to hear that, Bryan....was looking forward to talking to you again.

It will good to see Dave, though.

Sounds like it might be a good one this year if everyone shows.

The weather report is looking good. I'll be there, but I don't think my Monza will. I was trying to come up with a trailer to bring it out without actually renting one. The only thing I could come up with was one of those 2 wheel deals. I'm afraid it would fall apart before I got there with one of those. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and seeing the other H-bodies though. I'll bring along a camera and try to get some good pictures. Maybe with a little inspiration, I can get motivated to bring mine back from the dead.

And every one has been down the drag strip at one point or another. And every one of them needs something - from a little to a bunch. The Monza needs the most, but I bought it new, dated my wife in it, brought 2 of my kids home from the hospital in it and drove it about every day for 15 years. It has 115,000 on it and I probably put 114,975 of those on it. I just hope it ain't too far gone. See ya all (well some of you) Sunday. The rest we'll see next year.

I'm bringing a camera too, of course. I also think I'll throw in the tripod. Maybe we can get a group picture, post it on here, and then everyone can make their own copy.

Might be interesting for those that can't make it to see what everyone who does looks like.

I'll bring my good side.

Can't wait. We've got TWO cameras!

All there's left to do is close the garage door.

If only it was on Sat and not Sun then the babysitting issue we ran into would be nonexistant.

Bill, next year, Sat for sure, lol.

Just taking a short break from detailing. Building cars is much more fun to me than cleaning them.

I haven't bothered to read through all 11 pages of this thread.....anyone know how many people/cars we're expecting?

Sure sounds like the weather is going to be nice for it.

It was a great day! :D The weather was real nice, a mix of sun and high clouds and about 80 degrees. There were about 13 cars total, 10 from this site and 3 drag racers. The 3 drag racers (2 monzas and 1 vega) were on the other side of the track. There were 2 Skyhawks, 1 Vega and 7 Monzas. I'll get some pics posted soon, but here are some videos that I shot.
