I was just thinking about this. My car should finally be on the road monday. I'm hoping to make it this year.

I won't be already on vacation at that time this year. BUT, I will be into the week before finals, so a no-go again for me. :(

I actually know my schedule for May, and I would be off that weekend! Hope to bring two cars-- the Turbo and the Cosworth. Tim Herfel can drive the Cosworth down. I'm going to try to get Sherman Wright to come, too. Once we get a firm date, we should post this on the Cosworth sites and try to get some of those folks to show up. If we could have a mini road course in the parking lot, I bet they would be interested. Hope we also have the track to ourselves early in the day.

What's up guys. Yes it is that time again. I gotta talk to Dave but I know he is good for it! I talked to the track owner tonight and they are cool with us camping out starting Friday night and Saturday night with April 18 or May 16th being the best dates. HOPEFULLY A LITTLE COOLER THAN LAST YEARS JUNE MEET!!!

Lookin forward to it. Anyone that can chip in on the food would be appreciated. We'll bring a grill and I know dave will have some good stuff as well.

More info to come.....

Actually no not may 2, it would need to be April 18 or May 16 due to stuff at the track.

If we want to kinda have the track to ourselves they are always pretty open on the 3rd Saturday of each month and that is April 18 or May 18.

What do you guys think?

The later the better for me. I might be able to make the 18th of May, but I wouldn't have anything more done to my car. My summer project would be the Hookers, converter, and bigger cam. I might get that done in May hopefully.

And damn Todd... I didn't think your car could look any sweeter... those Billet Specialties wheels just make it look that much hotter.

Hey everyone, I think the May 16th date would be better for me. I might , might have a chance on getting my vega back together by then. Yes I know its been a year, but I had a couple set backs. If nothing else I will bring the car again this year

May 16th would be good the more I think about it. But I don't know what I'll do. I can either tow the Astre across three states on a trailer, behind a truck. Not too fun.

Or I can take the T/A for a wicked road trip. :D

I dunno. I know it is an H-body meet, but plan B just is so appealing. Plus I don't have to pay for hauling 10 mpg.

I'll think about it.

*edit* Holy crap! 15 hours, 1040 miles... that's a long haul! A little further than I would've expected!

Hey Mike,

Here's a pic of the rearend if you and your brother are interested. I'll bring it to the meet. Its narrowed to 51" with all factory brackets moved inward 3", latemodel zexel torsion posi unit with 3.23 gears, moser axles with 1/2" long style studs, 2000 SS Camaro brakes and calipers. You will need to change the end on your drive shaft to a late model camaro (cost about $50 or so to have done). You can run the factory torque arm with a couple mods and slight mods to the control arms. It was sand blasted and painted satin black.

Arrgh! May 16th will be difficult for me since I won't get home until very early that morning with no sleep from an Asia trip. But I will try to make it in the afternoon.
