bryan had made a post back on the 9th of feb saying the monzaque might be the first weekend in august but he had nothing set in stone at that point probably he will get a date set soon so people can make plans. confirm with bryan but he also had been thinking about letting us camp there bring your own tent might be the biggest h body hangover in history lol! i will definitely be going.

Good reason to go! You guys north of the border know how to brew the beer!

I know  , been up north a little myself. Need to see cars more than the bottom of the beer mug next time. Though there was the Enzo along the QEW right before the airport exit that laid waste to my 06 GTO :kick:

OK guys, I was just informed of this thread by Fred. Here I am to relay some info. Yes, of course, the 4th annual MonzaQue WILL be going on again this summer. I am looking at the long weekend in August (for us in Ontario at least, not sure about elsewhere) which would be Saturday August 1st.

I'l post more info (times etc) latter but that is the jist of it. I have, to date, provided the food (hence the 'Que part) but you have to supply the Monza (or ANY GM H-Body - hence the Monza part) and any beverages you may wish to intake.

I have been seriously considering providing people with a place to camp for the night(s) since I do have 22 acres which should be more than enough space for a few tents and cars. I just wanted to get some response to that and see if anyone would be interested in this to help cut your costs of any distance drivers out there (Regina, SA would certainly count, lol and you would top Mark who drives all the way in from Vermont) and make more of a weekend out of it, rather than just a few hours in the afternoon. If there is sufficient interest, I would then consider renting a port-o-potty for the evening to ease the strain on my septic system (I already have 5 people abusing it on a regular basis - OK, enough about my poop). :P

There are limited car cruise nights in the area for Saturdays, but it has been mentioned there is a huge car show in Brockville on the Sunday but that is approx 1-1.5 hours East of me. Still, it is an option. I will keep my eyes and ears open for something Saturday though, but I'm more than happy hanging out at my place for the day, then I can get drunk with Dave again and not worry about driving.

We had 5 cars the first year, 6 the second and 8 last year but inclement weather has scared off a few folks the past couple even though for the most part the days ended up being fairly nice and clear and somewhat rain-free.

Dave; I guess you can start thinking of yet another advert for me to post everywhere.

Ken; no excuses this year,lol

:thumb: I hear ya Bryan! Almost couldn't make it this year, my Dad's 80th birthday party is on the 15th. I was afraid you would schedule the same day lol.
Looking forward to the 1st.
