I'd like to do it again in 2010. June anyone? I'll try for a Saturday this time.

Bill, I had a great time last year and it was a big inspiration to keep and restify my Monza. I hope to at least get it there next year. The Sunday deal with the Hollywood Knights was good because you all got all the runs you wanted. For the Saturday program they only run 2 time trials. Also if you're shooting for June, I would say avoid the 11th through 13th because that is the Super Chevy event in Norwalk. Anyway, I hope this will be a go again this year. I need the motivation.

I could only do one day but I like the idea of a two day event. It allows me a lot more flexibility to get there.

We go out early Saturday and come back late Sunday anyways. It would allow a lot of flexibility for more people to show up.

Bill,

I believe I have resolved all the dependability issues with the Monza - so I would really like to go to Quaker City in June, a Saturday if possible leaving sometime Sunday. We would arrive in Ohio on Friday afternoon.

Please try to lock in a date.

Thanks much.

If my newly rebuilt Holley keep's on running as good and crisp as initial tests have been, I'll try a trip or 2 this year.
Provided I get working again soon!
For me the Monzacue takes precedence as I haven't been able to make it to the first 2. Quaker is a possibility.

I'm in. Tell us when.

My car never seems goes anywhere except to Quaker, so if there's no show, it sees no sun. (it also never needs waxed!)

Get those Cana-dudes to come down this year, too. :th:

I just had an Idea to really make this thing kick and even possibly get some media attention..

For the the 30th anniversary of the departure of the monza ( I know, not considering the extended production run and the delayed start of the j -body) - and the ushering in of the new subcompact the J-body...

Lets have an H-body vs. J-body bash!!

A 2 day event with the first day at Lordstown Ohio for an auto-x event and Tour of the plant, the the second day a day of showing and racing at Quaker city....???

Of course on second thought...I like the atmosphere of an H body only event seeing as how I can get my fill of stereo thumping neophytes any day of the week at taco bell.

Ouch. Did I just say that? I better just crawl back in my hole, is it springtime yet???
