Its funny, your so directly North, its the exact same time either way around the lake from me. 3 minute difference, lol. According to Google maps.

I have my Birth Cert squared away. Getting into Canada will be no ok with it, Its the return trip home thats got me a little worried.

I'll plan on arriving at around noon.

I'm not gonna make it.

After talking with enough people the general consensus is that a Birth Certificate and Licence were ok until the 1st of this year. - about 6 months of grace period after the US passed the Passport / EDL requirement in June of '09.

Now if I try to cross, Canada may Deny me knowing the hassles I'll face on the return trip. If they do let me pass, on the way back I may be detained until I call the US embassy and get a passport on the spot ($$$).

I can't risk that kind of hassle with the spyder in tote, sooooo....

I'm not gonna make it. :(. have fun all.

Well the 5th annual MonzaQue has ended and, yet again, it was another fantastic day. Great friends, beautiful cars, good food, and NO deer flies!!!!!!

(back row) Pauls' 78 Spyder, Mark's 79 Spyder, My 80 Spyder, Russ's 79 Monza Wagon, Rob's 75 2+2, Ken's 77 Vega, Tim's 72 Vega, Fred's 72 Astre,
(front row) Bills' 79 Skyhawk, Dave's 80 Spyder & Ron's 80 Formula ...
with Cliff, Peter and Harold showing up without rides (maybe next year ... hint, hint!!!). We just need a Starfire to have one of each model attending.

These guys all have great cars but do you think they can park, I'd hate to see them at a cruise night ??? :P

I only have a couple groups pics, the best of which is below, I'm sure others will post more.

Thanks to all who took the time to make the drive to Codrington and make another MonzaQue a success. 5 down, many more to go and, so far, each is bigger than the last. I hope everyone arrived home safely and had as great a time as Michelle and I did.

CHEERS!!!!

Thankyou Michele and Bryan!
I thoroughly enjoyed Monzaque for my second time! :th: and look forward to it every year.
Your new home is spectacular as is the country setting!
The mini convoy down was super with Tim and "Kermit" in the lead, [of course, try to stop him, unless you can beat something that has a 6-speed,fuel injected V-8, and turns 1300rpm @ 60 mph.! oh wait, I forgot to take my "LEAR"! :bang:] and Fred with the beutious black Astre, go as fast as you wanna power to weight-ratio, cuz I can,so there, in second,no first, no second....[traffic was pissing us off so ...] ...and me in the "bird" running blocker so mom's mini-van didn't weasel in between us and slow down again to 50 when we were all doing 65.
P.S. Tim,just to clarify for next time when I pull along side you, thumb gesture down my throat with right hand and thumb pointing to rear with other hand meant, I needed gas to go in my car soon, not I need to ....never mind.... [Kermit probably fuels whenever]
It was awesome to see everyone and their cars! Mark, hope you had a great trip home, you really did travel the farthest again, didn't get a chance to say c'ya, I know the trip was worth it!

Yes Ron the trip home went as well as the ride up and it was worth it. Next year I plan on coming up Friday (So I'll be alive to say c'ya when you leave)!

To Michelle and Bryan
Thanks for another quality event. The food was GREAT as always and the weather seems to get better every year! Next year i've got to check out your barn. It looks like an awesome old building. I'll also do my best to bring my Coupe as well.

Thanks Again!

Here's a big "Thank You" from my son and I.
We had a great time and enjoyed everyone's company, and it's always nice to have a reason to take the Vega on a nice long drive.
Jamie's been pretty busy at work lately, but hopefully he will have some more pictures up by the end of the week. Imagine the horror and dismay I experienced when I realized I hadn't taken a single picture :bang:

Isn't there some kind of 'enhanced' driver's licence you guys can buy in lieu of a passport?

Ken, was your son able to get the pics online that he took for the MonzaQue???
