2010 Texas H-Body knock down

Postby Dreamweaver vega » Tue Mar 23, 2010 5:30 pm

Sorry Everyone....
both Todd and I have extra busy this spring with work. I just got off the phone with Todd and reminded him about it. We talked about setting a date for it and we're in the process of getting our act together.I post something soon on the details

Dave,

I'm toying with the idea of coming down for it. I have co workers in Austin I'd like to see while I'm down there. Are you going to do it at Temple again? Let us know when you get some dates we can yea or neah to!

Hmmm,
Just as a suggestion I would wait till the rainy season is over with and possibly do it in June even. This has been the wettest year on record around Texas and I don't suspect it will let up. Last year at Temple the meet was very wet, rainy, and cold. At least on Saturday when we were down.

I suggested fall this year just to give everyone time to plan, but Todd said he booked Oct/Sept for work. I wanted to wait so my car would be running......
June aor july can be so hot Todd thought May or the end of May

Any Thoughts?

What’s up guys! Hope you’re all doing well. By now you surely realized that there has been no updates. At this point, Sept - Oct looks better unless you guys want to meet in the June-August heat?

Dave Donalson (dreamweaver) and I along with Mike Spigelmyer (blue monza TC from Ft Worth area) talked a little bit in late march about a May event. We've just all been extraordinarily busy this spring.

I sent a private email to them along with Dave English and Jeff Butland from San Antonio.

We'll come up with a solid date in the near future and be ready to go!!

I should have my new engine setup in place by then (its a secret). The Fuel injected 454 now resides in my 69 vette!
