H-Body @ Highway Dedication Ceremony

Postby Sunula66 » Mon Oct 25, 2010 8:46 am

On Saturday Oct.,23rd 2010'
Highway 21 north, from Hwy 402 to Goderich Ontario, has been officially re-named as the, "Bluewater Veterans Memorial" highway. At a ceremony in Grand Bend Ontario at the Legion Hall the unvieling of the new Highway sign board in blue and white sporting a red and black "poppy" on the upper left side! :th:
This dedication was in rememberance of our war Hero's past and present!
I was proud to attend with my '80 Sunbird Formula[the only H-body in attendance] along with other classic and antique vehicles in a small car show,30 or so cars, and drove in a car parade from the hall through main street down to the beach and back while the Ontario Provincial Police held back traffic till the parade was over, about 20 min.s or so!
Now when I travel this route I can remember the service our War Vets dedicated to us!
"remember... not everything is good on TOAST!"
