ATTEN: Spencer and Fred:

Didn't mean to leave the impression I'm coming to NS next year...I'm not saying I'm NOT coming, just that I hadn't made any 2013 plans at all yet. I can say I am DEFINITELY going there again, sometime, unless I die first.

A "VegaQue East" would be a cool idea, and I would definitely have to think about doing that. Unfortunately, I don't think I would be up for trailering the Buick 1400+ miles ONE WAY! Will you settle for just me and a truck???

So, if you men that live in NS, NB, or any of the other Maritime Provinces put something together, post it here, and I'll try hard to make it over and join ya...I'd love it. And if Ken wants me to pick him up on the way and give him my ideas on how to eat lobster, I can do that too...not that I know anything...Red Lobster usually has my tails cracked open for me. I'm lazy that way.

A 'VegaQue East' would definitely have to be a seafood deal in place of landlubber cow. But I love both!

That's because he overheard you talking about what you were going to do if I left MY car in your hands!

Loose lips sink ships!

It could also be because he doesn't want to leave it anywhere Dave could get to it, after what he said Saturday night about 'polishing' it. LOL!

To all the rest of you, I surely enjoyed meeting you and hearing your car stories. The only man I didn't actually get to talk to was John; he slipped out and I unfortunately didn't see him go.

Oy.. I wrote quite a long post , with all the details of my safe journey home, and my deep thanks.. and I fell asleep/ woke up later and shut everything off without submitting it, so here's the brief version..

Hour border wait.. but for once in my life, I was able to idle in a modified v8 monza in heavy traffic and not over heat! even after the extended 401 blast down the 401 in the "fast croud".. yep the 401 is still...the 401. I Shut it down a few times in line, to save on gas- and it started right up normally.

made it to Watertown on fumes.. crossed over some heavy rain as I headed west.

Only run in with the law, was when I yielded to a lights and sirens officer who had approached quickly from a side street, I quickly stopped and waved him on and he gave a wave back..

Actually you did post it Marco, I read it last night. You really must still be asleep though ... because you left it on the MonzaQue post that is in the general discussion section. :P

I gotta say, this was the best Monza que todate so far but not by far, except for Ried from afar....my attempt at humour.....and a very sincere thankyou to Michelle and Bryan!!!
as usual, you were the best hosts ever!! Thanks to you both, the weekend at the farm with everyone is deeply logged in my memory banks and it was a blast. Marco, well what can I say, super kool you made the trip and Ried, man you went out of your way too! literaly lol ! Great meeting up with the old crew and to all of you, thanks for a great Monza-Que and hopefully we'll all meet again soon I hope, and oh ya, the "Vega-Que" down east would be a blast too but the new engine will be better prepared by then also. Made it home in one piece and so did every one else I'm reading, good deal. Have a great one every body, Ron.
