I have a question about the summit cruise in....is it a community event or h-Body's only?

In years past we normally would head out south and cross at Buffalo and meet up with some NY folks between Buffalo and Erie.

To answer Bryan yes thays the same plan but with a bunch more cars meet at 1st exit after you get on interstate 80.
As for summit its just us driving in together .as we are not a club they wanted insurance bla bla bla but manager said he would love to have a whole bunch of customers show up in cool cars at thr same time .i hope that expains that. And im thinking of a group picture at lordstown plant after breakfast but thats not aproved by them either.

Sorry to see the guy from Oklahoma won't make it; anyone else that can't do the long trip. Sure sounds like this will be a big event. I guess I can feel lucky I'm 4 hours away.

Still planning to attend barring bad weather and surgery complications (hernia surgery May 27). I don't expect either...too excited about this event and seeing old friends again.

The Canadian bunch better slip into the U.S. via Detroit so they can drag MonzaHarry along!

Not sure how many of us Canucks will be there, unfortunately.

We cannot do the trip, just can't justify the expense, and last time I talked to Dave, he and Carla were quite possibly in the same boat. Haven't heard from anyone else around here about going or not going, which isn't positive. Hopefully the attendance mirrors the hype, not usually the case but it would be good to see this event take off like it used to years back.

Well that's a shame to hear, but understandable. I for one will miss seeing you guys from 'up there'.

The show is going to be here before you know it!! We are expecting a great turnout. Upwards of 50-70 cars. A lot of promotion was done on social media. We will have a good showing from the CVOA with 7-10 cars. There are people coming from all over including NH, NC, MN, MI, OH, NY, VT, CO, WV and PA as well as Canada. People are encouraged to bring swap meet H-body items. There are guys bringing trailers of H-body parts. See you there.

Weather forecast could be better, but pop-up thunderstorms can be expected in Ohio with the high temps we've had this week. Might get nothing at all.

Hope it doesn't hamper attendance. I'm heading up unless it's pouring hard Saturday morning when I load.

Looking forward to reconnecting with old friends and meeting some new ones.

Trying hard to be there with the race car J D RAce mobile... :)

I will try to load some parts too... Vega spoilers front and rear, one V8 Motor mount axles conversion 5 luggers etc.

Never trust the weather in OHIO...It can pour in one area and 5 miles away it is just fine. :) We do Norwalk all the time and it rains around that track ... I do not know what kind of drying equipment quaker has???

If somebody reads this before they go to the show please tell Bill that I won't be there. I told him yesterday that I would be there but this morning my Dad passed. I hope to see everyone next time. Thanks, Brian

Well. Look's I'll be heading over to get my monza in the early AM . With a bit of luck my state registration stickers arrived in the mail. keeping me all legal appearing. Fund's are arriving late in the week, but I have enough to get home on fumes, and if I can sell a DVD or 2 I'll have money for a hot dog and water. I have 5 available, I'll take $10 bux for one..

I'll risk a shower or 2.. looks like the day will contain a few. possibly heavy, but there narrow bands that pass quick.

I will make a last check tomorrow morning if conditions are bad enough I will possibly consider canceling the trip. Looks fair enough for now.

Hey Brian, I echo the sentiments, sorry to hear of your loss...

And hold the show, I just re-read the flyer IS IT REALLY $25 FOR ME TO ENTER THE SHOW?? Sorry but that'
s a deal breaker for me...I'm going to have to save my pennies for the Free show up North. And I will donate my funing to this site. maybe it can be add free for a year.
