Well it's obvious we all want to get together! I tend to agree with the major event idea at least to get us started. The Turkey Run is a great Fall idea we should work on that. I was hoping for something sooner myself for the Spring! Has anyone checked out Hot Somer Nites in Somerset Kentucky. It has been featured on Horsepower TV and is a monthly event that is HUGE! I had thought about instead of Chattanooga maybe a bunch of us meeting there Here's the link check it out!

The CVOA is going to have their 28 Round Up at kissimmee, FL in June. It's a long way to go, but they always have a big turnout. we could maybe combine with them for part of the party?

Richard is going to be there. :D
Of course, he is only two hours away.
His gorgeously restored Cosworth isn't running, so it probably won't be there. But, he could bring his Mirage - or one of his other real nice h-body cars.

If a lot of the members from this site want to go, we need to contact the CVOA.

I might possibly be able to make the trip in June, I would probably have to Dolly the Vega. I don't think I could afford the gas it would take to drive it that far!

75 S Traffic alert!

I'm on Spring break in Florida near Daytona. Took me 7 hours saturday to get from Marietta to the Florida line (about 270 miles).

Traffic was horrible.

We stopped for Breakfast north of Macon and it was past lunch when we stopped in Valdosta. Lots of slow downs for bridge construction. Road goes to 2 lanes from 3 and the backups for 1/4 mile of construction were 5+ miles.

Wore me out. Lots of Construction south of Macon right now.

Just looked at the Somerset, KY link........ nice. I work with some guys that go and they all say great things about it.

I'm gonna plan on attending this month....... Vegaless, of course.
I think this would be a good shot in the arm to finish my Vega. I'm motivated again!!!!! Gonna call a body shop tomorrow.
