Don't forget to tension the TV cable correctly

I used the TCI kit on my 2004R and it works OK for me. I had my trans shop gut adjust it for the best shift. I used the TCI throttle and throttle correction plate they offer for Holley carbs. Both parts are required if you are running a Holley to get the TV cable geometry correct. It just takes a little adjusting to get it correct. The car unlocks upon deceleration. the TCI kit uses a small vaccum micro switch to actuate the unlock feature. You may also need to adjust this switch. Mine worked fine as delivered.
