my cars been setting for 4 years and the good tires i have on it are hard now and dont grip. is there any treatment or something i can put on them 2 make the rubber soft and sticky again and also where 2 get it? the tires r like new but from sitting there hard and dont grip

I just realized you meant for more than just track use... Maybe this will work though. If they've got to go anyway maybe it would work? I think it just heats up the tire with a chemical though... Probably a big mess in the end.

THe problem is using something that would make the rubber compound loose it's molecular adhesion. Then you've got some scary problems!
