i put a muncie in my 72 with a street super shifter check out my project page there are pics of how i had to modify my trany tunnel for the shifter

you will need the bellhousing from a v8 monza or from a 2.5 4 banger monza (iron duke)
clutch pedals

after you get them the rest is easy to get your tranny and shifter then driveline i think a turbo 350 one is the same lenth

Donnie, I'm with you 100% on the manual. I have a great truck for a winter vehicle now. It has a really great auto set up, a nice Shelby shift module but I can't stand it! It is always shifting when I don't want it to. I'll be on a small back road doing 25 mph and it will want to shift into OD. JEEZ!

I've just decided to go T5 so I've got a Saginaw sitting here. If everything goes well with the T5 you can have that if you're interested... Not sure how much shipping would run. It's 105 lbs...

Just something to think about.

I've been toying with this idea for a while. I'd be a lot of fun, but what's the consensus for a 4spd and 350 rwhp? I've got only subframe connectors, how badly will this torque my car? I drive my car like I stole it, so the TH350 absorbs some of that, but there's no give with a 4spd. Would I have to do a rollbar, maybe cage? I'd love a stick, but if it tweaks my car I'll just stick with the auto.

Cool. It's been really lightly used and they are pretty tough... I'm glad it would be put to good use. I'll keep you posted.
