Im not a big glide fan...they never came with a first gear ratio over 1.8x and will be a pig around town unless youve got alot of rear gear.
a three speed or even a four speed might be a better candidate.

But theyre is no reason that the glide wont fit....itll go right in place of a th350.
I dont remeber if youll have to move the trans mount or not but I dont think so...its been a while since I used one.

God bless

For a race only car, a 'glide is hard to beat, especially in a light car with lots of power. Back in the day, the low-budget racers scoured the junkyards for early Vega Powerglides to get their lower 1st gear and small torque converter. My 76GT will have one(out of a 72 Nova- I think the last year of production) when it gets "re-incarnated" with it's Jegster chassis and a big-inch small block.
The "fleet"-

77 Vega Estate wagon- project(someday)will have TPI305/T-5, S-10 spindles/axles
76 Vega GT- 400/4spd/9" retired from active duty(rusty)
06 Silverado 2WD ex.cab daily
03 Silverado 2WD ex.cab (retired)
06 Haulin' 20ft enclosed car transporter
06 GMC Canyon Shop truck
07 Colorado project( 5.3 4L60e swap)
99 Saturn SL1- wife's car
01 Saturn SC2- son's project
07 Saturn Ion Redline project
and 4 more Saturn "parts cars"
Note- the very act of listing all of these has made me realize I have some kind of problem.....

'Glide and TH350 both use the same crossmember and driveshaft (if the TH is of the short tailshaft variety.
